“HOT FLASHES: I started having them at 48 and they were INTENSE. Taking over my whole body, waking me up at night. I'd literally feel a rushing in my ears when they were coming on. It was ruining my sleep. Honestly, I went to acupuncture with Lamia to check a box before my plan to go get HRT. What I didn't anticipate is that my session with Lamia... would COMPLETELY CURE THEM. I go back regularly — Lamia's ability to care and listen and help me is off the charts — but even when I've taken a month off: no hot flashes. ZERO. Lamia is a magician. On top of that, Lamia has helped me in the past with other things — I had a years-long problem of getting stabbing pains in my leg and Lamia figured out it was a particular food I was eating. I stopped: the leg pains stopped. Lamia also shows a level of extreme care. Both emotionally and physically — zir ability to balance sheets and blankets (so i can keep warm) without affecting the needles is second to none! If you have something medical that doctors and specialists haven't been able to help with — or if you just want to try something before resorting to meds — GO SEE LAMIA!”

“I’ve been coming to Aurum for a few years now, and all the practitioners I’ve seen have been excellent! I’ve seen Michelle for massage, Robin for osteopathy, and Lamia for shiatsu. I’ve also gotten some great supplements and products (like an amazing weighted heating pad and the Accuball!) Aurum is a very chill, pleasant, welcoming, and queer and neurodivergent friendly clinic.”

“HOW have I not left a review about Aurum yet??? Such a relaxing, welcoming, and inclusive environment. Erin is such a calm presence as a massage therapist and so intuitive and communicative about your needs. They're great at both the firmer massage to loosen up tight muscles and a softer approach for general relaxation. I'm a highly anxious ND person who's been treated uh, not super great by a number of medical practitioners, but I trust Erin completely, and massage therapy has been one of the best things that's ever happened for my mental health. Two of my roommates have also been to Erin and loved it! Aurum's other massage therapist, Michelle, is also wonderful! I went to her once when I had a different schedule than usual, and she's so skilled and friendly. You really can't go wrong at Aurum.”

“The Aurum Medicine and Wellness Clinic is a gem. I have worked with Dr. Tania Tabar (naturopath) for years and my experience has been life changing. She is incredibly wise and the care provided goes above and beyond to listen to patient needs, follow up and treat them inside and out. Also Her approach to acupuncture has been a great way to support my health plans and has resulted in noticeable improvements. All the staff I’ve come across during my appointments are friendly and welcoming. If I’ve needed to make a last minute change to an appointment, reception has always been kind and understanding and do their best to accommodate. The clinic is a safe and pristine space. The beautiful environment reflects the high quality of professionalism and care you’ll receive. Recently have started being treated by Michelle, the RMT, and she is the best! She creates a safe space receiving consent before treatment. She’s the most knowledgeable and thorough RMT I’ve ever had who really helped and healed. Received so much wisdom and tips for treatment post appointment. It’s a gift to be a client of Aurum!”
