Yilai (Elaine) Mai is a dedicated professional acupuncturist with a strong background in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and a commitment to holistic healthcare. Holding R.Ac licenses from CTCMPAO and a CPR-HLS certificate, she earned her Bachelor of Chinese Medicine degree from Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, where she was selected for the prestigious Tietao class (experimental class)under the guidance of Dr. Tietao Deng.
During her five years of TCM study, Elaine gained practical experience in hospitals, offering a comprehensive range of treatments including acupuncture, massage (tuina), moxibustion, and cupping. Her work at the No.1 affiliated Hospital of GZUCM deepened her understanding of acupuncture's efficacy in acute conditions and pain management.
Elaine furthered her education and successfully got a Master of Public Health degree at Western University, gaining insights into community health and the Canadian healthcare system. This knowledge positions her well to understand the specific health needs of Canadians. Elaine is expertise not only in pain management, but also other areas like facial paralysis, insomnia, and frozen shoulders. She is willing and capable of establishing personalized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient, reflecting her commitment to providing high-quality care in a holistic manner.
