Dr. Bonnie Steele is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) in British Columbia, holding both a Master of Arts and a PhD from the University of British Columbia. She brings a calm, steady presence and a deep commitment to helping individuals navigate life's complex transitions with greater clarity, resilience, and confidence.
Following many years in academia and a distinguished career as a university professor, Dr. Steele now dedicates her practice exclusively to counselling. Drawing on decades of experience supporting individuals through periods of uncertainty, growth, and reinvention, she creates a compassionate, collaborative space where clients can explore life's challenges, strengthen resilience, and move toward meaningful, lasting change. Her approach is grounded in the belief that personal growth is possible at every stage of life.
Dr. Steele supports both adults and children across a range of concerns, with particular interest in:
- Life transitions, including perimenopause, divorce, burnout, and major life changes
- Anxiety, persistent worry, panic symptoms, intrusive thoughts, and avoidance patterns

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Steele is an accomplished fiction writer and experienced research design consultant. She has a lifelong appreciation for literature, with favourite authors including John Steinbeck, Cormac McCarthy, and Barbara Kingsolver.
