“Disappointing Experience: Unaddressed Professional Conduct and Billing Issues > We are writing this review with disappointment after a family member had an unhelpful therapeutic experience here. > Professional Conduct: The service was unfortunately dismissive. Our family member felt their mental health concerns were minimized and ignored by the practitioner, which led to a breakdown of trust. > Billing Concerns: We also found concerning financial discrepancies. A session that lasted only 42 minutes was billed for a full hour, and a cancellation/no-show fee was processed several hours before the scheduled appointment time. > We submitted a formal letter be email to the clinic two weeks ago detailing these issues, hoping for a resolution and discussion. Since we have received no reply from the management, we feel we have no choice but to escalate the matter. “Had a really bad experience at this clinic. Went here to try and help with mental health issues surrounding anxiety and other worries. The therapist I was partnered with was absolutely horrible. The conversations were extremely awkward and there were instances where it was almost like she was insinuating my situations was just common overreacting. “Had a virtual psychological assessment with Viktoria through Positive Mind Wellness and the experience was genuinely solid. She listened, was attentive, and showed care throughout the session, something that’s not always easy to come by. The clinic itself was professional from start to finish. I got reminder emails ahead of time, which helped a lot with the fact that my memory is not the greatest these days. Overall, it was a smooth process and I felt respected and understood. “I do not often leave reviews but I needed to beacuse more people need to see massage therapist Joey Smith RMT. I have had chronic pain all my life and seen so many people (chiro / physio / RMT’s / osteo.. etc.) and nobody has addressed my pain the way Joey has. He has done amazing work for my neck and chronic pain associated with my sacrum. He has tackled areas that I wasn’t aware could be contributors and is incredibly thorough and knowledgeable. He is so patient with all my questions and kindly educates me too. I am grateful to have met him and the positive changes I’ve seen from his work.
