“Start Line is a first-rate operation in all respects. From initial booking to being warmly greeted, to filling out pertinent informational forms to the most important aspect of the experience, the treatment. Having been to many physios throughout my life, Pieter stands out. He is focused, thorough, and clear in what he asks of you, both during the appointment and how to follow-up. Finally, he is effective in identifying exactly what needs to be addressed and then in treating the target area(s). Having received IMS (Intramuscular Stimulation) many years ago, I had my reservations. However, unlike my previous painful experience, Pieter's seamless application was only slightly uncomfortable. “Thank you to Pam and Sigrun. I appreciate the positive fun atmosphere you both bring to the office. You make it easy to book appointments and keep me on schedule. With great laughs. Pieter Brautigam is the best physiotherapist I have had the pleasure of working with he uses a variety of different techniques to help relieve my pain. He is calm, informative, extremely knowledgeable. Helps me understand what is causing the pain and gives me techniques and stretches to help relieve and strengthen the muscle so it won't continue to cause issues. I have recommended Pieter to several family members all of whom think he is amazing too. Trish Laliberte is absolutely excellent! She is so knowledgeable, strong and informative. “I come here repeatedly to see Derek Gouweleeuw. Derek has a fantastic approach to how he helps clients, he firstly cares and has accommodated me before on short notice and delivered excellent therapy in accupuncture and has a wealth of knowledge on human anatomy and how we get injured/bring on pain. I went one time for neck pain that was bringing on migraines, he delivered a great session in accupuncture and also wrapped the effected area with KT tape while including a herbal strip. The relief I felt after that time was so relieving and he gave me advice on structured ways to sleep and so on, I've not had any similar issues since. On another occasion I went for a running injury which he also healed for me through accupuncture and exercise/stretching plans. He is a true professional and his methods of handling clients needs is very professional yet maintaining a very comfortable atmosphere. If you need accupuncture or are injured, sportsperson or not I highly recommend seeing this guy, I know who to go to now in case of any injuries in the future and I'm glad I found that here.”Read moreShow less

“I've been to Derek twice now and if needed I'll definitely be going to him again. He's very good at what he does, on both occasions I went for Accupuncture and on the second time it was migraine related, he went the extra mile and tended to KT taping the affected area and used a herbal strip also, minutes after the appointment I was back to 100% I don't know how he does it but he's definitely the guy to see if you want a professional who cares about the clientele.”Read moreShow less

“If I could have given more than five stars I would have!!!! I can't recommend Start Line enough!!! Right from booking my appointment to my actual appointment It was seamless. The office staff are so professional and ready to help you in any way they can. Everything is impeccably clean and extremely organized, and they have everything there that can help with a huge variety of conditions you may have. The doctor that cared for me was Dr. Alex Del Duca, and to say he is extremely qualified and an amazing doctor is an understatement!!!! I can't recommend him enough!! Extremely professional!! I've dealt with chronic low back pain for years and finally feel I'm heading down the right road. I got relief from the very first visit! I've never had a doctor show so much care and attention. He made me feel extremely comfortable, listened very carefully to all of my symptoms, looked closely at my history, explained the treatment options very carefully, came up with the best direction and procedures according to what I needed while letting me still make choices as to what I wanted to do. He's not interested in band aiding problems, He likes to fix them and that is so refreshing! He loves what he does, loves helping people, and it shows! “Start Line is the absolute best! I’m fairly adept at injuring myself and these guys are the absolute best at putting me back together. I’ve seen 4 practitioners over the years and every single one is not only extremely knowledgeable, professional, and efficient, but they are also incredibly welcoming, personable, and kind.
