“I had a great experience with Dr. Kent Butler at Saanich Physio—professional, knowledgeable, and I would absolutely recommend him. Unfortunately, the front desk and management experience was extremely disappointing. At checkout, staff made no eye contact, let alone "hello" or "goodbye" when taking my $250 payment or when handing me my receipt. Instead they continued an inappropriately gossiping to a co-worker about a different co-worker they were unhappy with, airing internal issues in front of clients. It was uncomfortable and unprofessional. Later the front desk gal called because they had failed to charge me the full amount. I told her I thought she was rude and unprofessional earlier, and then I provided my credit card details over the phone and made it clear I required a receipt emailed immediately—nothing came. I followed up the next day by email and got no response back. Two days after the appt, I called asking to speak to the manager, who advised my payment still hadn't been processed as they said they needed my consent to process it. I advised that when I said "okay sure here's my credit card number, but please make sure you email me a receipt" - that IS consent! I asked how my credit card had been stored the last two days and she advised me they stored my credit card on file, online, without my consent and in non-compliance with privacy standards/PIPEDA. When I advised that was illegal to do I was told she would remove it - no apology, and no commitment to do better. People make mistakes and get caught up in work drama. I get that. But when front desk and management is showing up on Google reviews as consistently being either dismissive, giving attitude, skirting accountability, and give no indication of caring about the client or their experience... well that seems to me like a good place to avoid...”Read moreShow less

“I have been going to Jacob for accupuncture for a few months now an I have never felt better. Jacob is very knowledgeable and knows how to address aches and pains. He not only uses needles but also massage and exercise. I feel so much better now being able to sleep without walking up every hour due to aches. “I saw Vanessa W. for some Right shoulder pain that I was experiencing for now about 3 weeks. Without much assessment she knew what to treat and treated it effectively and was able to restore pain free movement within 30 minutes. “Came for a functional assessment . They switched practitioners without telling me before my appointment. The guy I ended up seeing was super young and didn’t seem to know what he was doing at all. Wrote a useless report saying my body moves great and my functionality is fine, which is not even remotely true. He did a terrible assessment and wouldn’t listen to my concerns. He even argued with me when I said some of the exercises he was suggesting actually trigger my pain not relieve it, he insisted if I work thru the pain it’ll get better, as if I haven’t ever tried exercising before. I’ve been dealing with chronic pain for 20+ years and know my body better than someone who just met me. When I complained to the manager I got zero response. Very unprofessional.”Read moreShow less

“This is an excellent physiotherapy clinic, staff is very polite, welcoming and professional. My therapist Christiaan was very insightful in explaining my particular injury, he was able to determine the right treatment that has worked for me and exercises needed post recovery to further strengthen that particular area.
