“I have been experiencing migraines, neck and lower back pain and balance issues for many years. Since I first started physiotherapy with Chuck and now kinesiology with Takoda, my symptoms have decreased significantly with the proper treatment and exercises given to me. “I was treated recently for a few weeks by Kinesiogist Mack Rutherford at Parksville Physiotherapy on Vancouver Island. Amazing! I arrived very weak, depressed and afraid that I would never overcome my weakened state After only a couple of months of regular meetings, I was completely rejuvenated - strong, active, pain free - and walking in a straight line again! This was all thanks to his intensive sessions of relatively simple exercises combined with an obviously advanced study of the human brain and its effect on human mobility. “I came into the storefront to book an appointment for myself and partner for two custom foot beds each, (approx 2000$ worth of insoles) having full coverage and knowing my plan details I tried to book. The receptionist basically scared me away telling me that my insurers wouldn't reimbursed a recipt from their store( after me calling my insurers and them assuring me I'm covered) . I left the store because she made it seem like I wouldn't want the product. Get a new receptionist. I'm telling everyone I know to stay away!”Read moreShow less

“Fabulous experience. Chuck and his team here are absolute legends. They’re all parts professional, proactive, kind, understanding, and smart. The vibe here is outstanding; you immediately feel like you’re where you need to be. “After previously having an absolutely terrible experience with another physiotherapist in town, I decided to give Parksville Physiotherapy a try. My experience with Garrett was everything that I hoped for it to be, and needed for it to be. Garrett was nothing short of knowledgeable, patient, professional, and supportive. He cheered me on from start to finish and celebrated every small win with me. I had the upmost confidence in his abilities and skill set. The front desk staff were also very friendly and welcoming. The facility was kept clean and consistently appeared well maintained. I would highly recommend Parksville Physiotherapy/Garrett to anyone. 11/10 experience overall. “I am amazed that after just 2 sessions of Shock Wave therapy my scar tissue in my foot has almost gone! I can now walk without pain and feel like I have my life back after 6 years of discomfort! This is truly life changing for me! I told Chuck I would hug and kiss him and keep him forever haha! He told me maybe a review would be nice lol! “I have been receiving treatment from Chuck at Parksville Physiotherapy for over a year now and have found him to be amazing at his job. Chuck is extremely positive to work with and has an immense knowledge base when it comes to tailoring treatment to your particular lifestyle whatever that might be. Before I started seeing Chuck I was unsure that I was going to be able to continue in the career I had put a lot of time, money, and effort in to. Chuck has made life relatively pain free for me and has also been great at responding to quick questions via email or phone call rather than having to wait for the next session.
