I enrolled in the 8-week running group expecting a structured, coached program. My experience was that we met outside the clinic, signed in, split into pace groups, and followed another runner on a group run, with little or no coaching, instruction, or feedback. For comparison, I previously paid about $75 for a year-long Running Room clinic program that included multiple weekly runs, coaching on form and pacing, educational sessions, and running gear discounts. Based on that experience, I did not find this program offered comparable value for the fee. If you’re simply looking for people to run with, I would recommend exploring one of the many free community running groups instead. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this paid- program due to lack of value that justifies the fee.

Great appointment today with Dr. Bastien. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. Good prolottherapy treatments on my hands and knee!

Excellent communication, expertise, listening and support. Helpful plan moving forward to heal a strained adductor/hip flexor. Thank you for your support Joe.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but after almost two months under Dr. Eghbali’s care, I feel I need to share my experience. I was referred to him by my family doctor because of ongoing shoulder and arm pain. During this time, I was scheduled three virtual appointments, but I was never seen in person for a proper physical examination. Instead of assessing my shoulder and showing me corrective exercises, I was only prescribed pain medication and an ointment, and later sent a basic PDF with general exercises. The biggest issue was the repeated lack of respect for my time. Every virtual appointment started 30 to 45 minutes late. At my most recent appointment yesterday, I waited for 45 minutes from 1:15 to 2:00 pm while I was at work and even sent three messages through the clinic’s app asking if the doctor could see me as soon as possible. I received no response and eventually had to leave the call and return to work. Only after I left did the office call and ask me to reconnect because the doctor was finally ready. I explained to the receptionist how frustrated I was with the repeated delays and the lack of consideration for patients’ time. She asked me to reconnect, so I did. Unfortunately, I waited again, and the doctor still never joined the appointment. After almost four months of waiting between my family doctor, referrals, Ultrasound and X- ray and sports medicine appointments, my condition has continued to get worse and has now progressed to a frozen shoulder. My pain has increased significantly, and it has affected both my work and my daily life. As a patient, I expected timely care, a proper physical assessment, and a clear treatment plan. Instead, I experienced long delays, poor communication, and very little practical care. This has been an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience, and I cannot recommend this clinic based on the care I received.

Ramsey is a first rate physio. He is thorough and extremely adept at isolating problems within the first visit and assembles a rehab program that puts you on your way to recovery immediately. Very highly recommended.

I had an outstanding experience at North Shore Sports Medicine. After injuring my back, I called on a Friday when it seemed impossible to find a same-day physiotherapy appointment. Managing Partner, Sohail Kamal, went above and beyond to arrange an appointment for me that day. My physiotherapist, Julien Adam, was professional, knowledgeable, and provided excellent care. The staff were friendly, and the entire process, from my first call to direct billing through my extended health benefits, was seamless. I highly recommend North Shore Sports Medicine for their exceptional care and outstanding customer service.

I had my first visit with Tom Myhill Jones, after an avulsion fracture to my right lateral malleolus. I was really impressed by the long first session and the treatment I received, from diagnosis to rehab exercises to some manual therapy, all with so much care and attention, and helpful information. I've used this clinic before, with Edmond Gu and Adam Kartusch at different times, and all three have proved very knowledgeable and super helpful to healing. None of them suggest you come for any longer than needed, and they always give very practical support, in ways that kind of teach you a bit more about your injury than other places I've experienced. Really friendly and efficient front desk too, warm and caring. Thank you. Would obviously recommend!

The team, Kai (Acupuncture), Joe (Physio), and Marianne (KIN), has been treating me for a few months, for my wrist fracture and shoulder pain. The treatments/ training are efficient, they always listen to my needs and check on my progress. The receptionists are always polite and willing to help manage appointments, with clear communication. Besides the first few times, ICBC does not cover all the cost for physio, without doing KIN together, that part was confusing. It would be helpful to have more info on the booking platform for that, or to be reminded the first time, via emails or in-person.

I’m visiting North Vancouver and the North Shore Sports Medicine clinic was recommended to me. I selected Mike Gauthier RMT based on the his bio and I was very happy with the treatment he provided. Mike listened to my concerns, applied the right amount of pressure and relieved my issues. I would recommend Mike as he is knowledgeable and thorough in his approach.

January 8th, 2026, was my first visit to any physio and my primary objective was to receive an exercise program targeted at injury prevention and strengthening specific problem areas. The overall experience with all staff was excellent, and my assigned physio Ramsey Ezzat did an excellent job with the assessment, exercise demonstrations, and exercise regimen development. Very pleased with the service and visit overall, and will be going back for any subsequent physio needs as they arise.
