I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Karen. Over the last year and a half I have been essentially dismissed by several healthcare professionals. Thanks to Karen’s care and expertise I finally got a diagnosis. Not a good one but nevertheless I will trust Karen completely with my rehab whatever that looks like. Highly recommend Freeform Physio in Hope.

Karen is the best physio! She helped me rehab several injuries throughout different marathon training blocks! Karen took a holistic approach and helped me to understand the cause of my injuries instead of just focusing on symptom relief. Would highly recommend her services!

As a GP and long-time patient with recurrent disc herniation and rotator cuff tendinopathy, I had the chance to work with Karen for nearly a year — and she is truly exceptional. Her depth of knowledge, precision, and ability to fine-tune even small exercise details led to the shortest and most effective rehab I’ve experienced. She combines strong Pilates expertise with evidence-based manual therapy and rehabilitation in a way that was exactly what my program had been missing. The community of Hope is incredibly fortunate to have her.

It has been amazing working with Karen over the past couple years for physio and pilates. She has helped me so much with various injuries and imbalances and supported me to feel my best physically. I appreciate her attention to detail, knowledge and ability to come up with solutions that are adapted specifically to meet my needs!

This review is a long time coming, but better late than never! I was training for a half marathon when I experienced a back injury that left me struggling to walk, let alone run. I had been booked for a general running assessment on the day of my injury, but Karen was calm, informative, and supportive when it pivoted to an injury assessment and management appointment. Karen was able to provide a variety of techniques and exercises to manage the initial pain of the injury, and then to gradually begin a return to movement program. The rehab physician I was also seeing over this period recommended I "forget about running and find a new hobby", but Karen remained positive and was able to guide me back to running safely. I moved out of town about a year later, and was really sad to say goodbye to Karen. Fast forward to this weekend, and I completed my first marathon, completely pain-free. I think there is a very real chance that without Karen's support I would have listened to that doctor, or would have pushed on in a way that risked further injury. I can't thank you enough Karen for all you did, and hope our paths will cross again when I (hopefully!) make it back to Squamish.

I never knew how badly I needed clinical Pilates until I met Karen. She was instrumental in pin pointing long-standing issues and helping find tangible ways to fix them through both her immense biomechanics and Pilates knowledge. Her approach is gentle, and she is so kind and has a great sense of humour, which I really appreciated during some particularly rough times. Go see Karen, I can assure that you will not be disappointed!

I’m so thankful to have found Karen! She is not only incredibly knowledgeable but also brings a great sense of humour that makes recovery a little easier. Rehab can be tough, she was always there to encourage me when it was challenging but also great at taking the time to explore alternative treatment options when persistent issues came up. Her dedication and adaptability truly set her apart. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a physio who genuinely cares and goes the extra mile!

Karen is fantastic! After struggling for many years to recover from persistent injuries, I have had huge breakthroughs working with her. She has a very thoughtful and holistic approach to fixing you up from top to bottom. Highly recommend!

Karen has been absolutely fantastic in helping me through many issues. Her ability to help me understand how to move correctly has been easy to understand and repeatable. Best yet though, is she a a wonderful person to go see every month. My wife and I will miss her but wish her best of luck with this new chapter

Karen is amazing. She helped me through so much when she was working in Van. I had tons of issues from years of bad postural habits. She also assisted me with my tibia surgery recovery. Took me 5 tries to find a physio as good as her. If you want someone that takes a smart and logical approach to fixing your body consider yourself lucky she’s in your area haha.
