“I’ve been seeing Andre for a while now and I can honestly say he’s made a huge difference in my health. I originally started going to him for my psoriasis and gut health, and I’ve noticed a real improvement since beginning treatment. On top of that, he was also able to help with a persistent pain in my wrist that had been bothering me for a long time. Andre takes the time to really listen and understand what’s going on rather than just treating symptoms. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients and wants to help you feel better. “I've had very bad shoulder/arm pain for almost a year. I've tried several different methods in helping with my pain, but none has been as successful as Andre's cupping and acupuncture. “I had read the reviews and decided to book a session here, but unfortunately it turned out to be a very disappointing experience for the following reasons: 1. While booking the appointment, I clearly mentioned that I wanted blood cupping therapy. However, upon arrival, I was told that they did not have the necessary supplies to perform it. Instead of being upfront, this was covered up by stating that blood cupping requires a certain level of blood in the body, checking my blood pressure, and implying that since I am “healthy,” it could not be done. This explanation did not make sense, especially considering that I am 6 feet tall, weigh 90 kg, and am a regular blood donor. If blood cupping was not available, a clear and honest explanation would have been appreciated. 2. Even the regular cupping therapy was poorly performed. The cups were simply placed and then moved around without proper technique. I have previously had cupping therapy at Yaletown Wellness Centre, where it was professionally done with a proper combination of massage and cupping, and the issues were addressed effectively. The quality here was nowhere close to that standard. 3. Additionally, there were concerns regarding cleanliness and hygiene protocols, which did not appear to be properly followed during the session. Overall, the experience did not meet expectations and felt unprofessional compared to other wellness centres I have visited.”Read moreShow less
