Valerie graduated from the 3000 hour Massage Therapy program at WCCMT Victoria in April 2009. Since becoming registered, she has been practicing at Health Kinection Massage Therapy Clinic in Smithers BC.
She has focused her continuing education studies on Manual Lymph Drainage with the Dr. Vodder school for Lymphedema Therapy.
In 2016 Valerie also began studies with the International Alliance of Healthcare Educators and completed the first two modules of Craniosacral Therapy (CST) and the first module of Visceral Manipulation (VM). The third Module of CST will be completed in March 2017 and the second module of VM in October 2017.
Valerie strives to provide quality care for a wide range of conditions using a variety of techniques. Whether your life has been changed by injury or illness, her passion is to offer relief from chronic pain, physical dysfunction, and stress.
In her spare time, Valerie is busy raising two young children in the Bulkley Valley. Her family enjoys gardening, x-country and downhill skiing, hiking, biking and swimming.
