About Selina

Ms. Selina Haltom is a Registered Clinical Specialist with a Master's in Social Work. With 17 years of experience working in the field of trauma, Ms. Haltom is committed to creating a compassionate therapeutic space for clients to feel safe, accepted, and understood. Ms. Haltom specializes in supporting the impact of sexualized violence, historical child abuse(neglect, physical, emotional), and other adverse life experiences. Symptoms of trauma can include but are not limited to anxiety, internal body shaming, nightmares, depression, low self-confidence, and a general sense of overwhelm or disconnection. In addition to her Master’s degree in Social Work, Ms. Haltom has specialty post-graduate training in diverse therapies. These include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, Internal Family Systems(IFS) therapy, and Sand-Tray therapy. These approaches ensure variety, creating tailored sessions to meet clients' needs.
