About Rhyan

Hi! I'm Rhyan, the speech-language pathologist at Spark Therapy Collective! I earned my Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Minot State University in 2022. I am certified by the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Manitoba (CASLPM) and hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). In addition, I am a Level 1 Certified Sensory SLP and a Natural Language Acquisition (NLA) Certified Clinician through the Meaningful Speech program. My approach to communication is child-led and strengths-based, with a focus on creating therapy experiences that feel natural, empowering, and meaningful. I’m passionate about working with children and their families, and I believe that play and connection are at the heart of progress. Every child brings their own strengths, interests, and personality to the process, and my goal is to build on those qualities to support confident, authentic communication. Through curiosity, creativity, and collaboration, I strive to make each session a space where children feel seen, supported, and excited to grow. Whether I’m helping a child find their first words, supporting gestalt language processors, or collaborating with families to foster connection and confidence, my goal is always the same: to honor each child’s unique communication style and empower them to thrive.
