Raylene Laycock grew up near Paradise Valley, Alberta, and has always been an active and engaged member of the Lloydminster community. She was heavily involved in sports and agriculture in her youth and holds these experiences close to her. Now that she has completed school and returned home, she is eager to rejoin the Lloydminster community and use what she has learned to help others.
Raylene graduated from MacEwan University in 2021 with her diploma in Acupuncture and is registered as an Acupuncturist with the College of Acupuncturists of Alberta. Raylene is passionate about helping people find peace through her medicine and wants to help lift the burden of all forms of pain. She is eager to work with people of all ages and backgrounds helping with sport injuries, chronic pain, autoimmune disorders, mental wellness, and women's health concerns (ex. Fertility, menopause, painful cycles) to name a few.
Acupuncture is meant to restore harmony and balance within our body. It initiates our internal healing properties by targeting the aspects of our body in need of attention or rebalancing, promoting circulation and reducing inflammation. Raylene has studied Traditional Chinese medicine throughout her university career and will do her best to honor its traditions and shed more light to its incredible capacity. Her acupuncture practice will include the techniques of electro-acupuncture, manual stimulation, cupping, Tui Na Massage, topical ointments, and moxibustion.

I can’t say enough good things about Transition Health and Wellness. From the moment you walk in, you’re treated with genuine care and respect. This place isn’t just a clinic — it’s a vital part of my recovery and overall well-being.
Dr. Rylan Gaudet is hands-down the best chiropractor I’ve ever seen. He listens carefully, adapts to what your body needs, and always finds the right adjustment to restore mobility and reduce pain. With chronic issues stemming from a serious accident, I’ve seen a lot of practitioners over the years — but Rylan is in a league of his own.
Andrea Heddon, my massage therapist, has magic hands. She balances skill and intuition so well — working through stubborn muscle tension without ever pushing me past what I can tolerate. She’s thoughtful, professional, and has a calming presence that makes every session feel like true therapy for both body and mind.
Raylene Laycock is my go-to for acupuncture, and I honestly don’t know where I’d be without her. Her treatments have been a game changer, especially with managing a long-standing headache I’ve had since a head-on collision. Her approach is gentle, thorough, and incredibly effective. She’s also just a lovely human being who truly cares about your healing journey.
This trio — Rylan, Andrea, and Raylene — are not just exceptional at what they do, they’ve become essential pillars in my ongoing healing. I trust them completely. If you’re looking for a team that’s professional, compassionate, and truly invested in your health, look no further than Transition Health and Wellness. They’ve changed my life — and I’m grateful every single visit.”Read moreShow less
