About Pamela

BSc, (PT), FCAMPT, CAFCI Physiothérapeute FCAMPT Pam a débuté sa carrière en physiothérapie en 2000. Elle a commencé sa carrière au Centre de réadaptation de l'Hôpital d'Ottawa où elle a travaillé dans les domaines des soins respiratoires, de la réadaptation des lésions médullaires et de l'orthopédie complexe. En 2004, elle est entrée en pratique orthopédique privée et s'est jointe à PhysioSport Chelsea. Pam est diplômée de l'École nationale de ballet de Toronto et du Ballet national du Canada de 1983 à 1992. Cette formation en arts de la scène a eu une influence notable sur ses intérêts et son approche thérapeutique en physiothérapie. Elle aime particulièrement travailler avec les danseurs et les musiciens et a une connaissance approfondie des exigences physiques et mentales de ces formes d'art. En plus de son baccalauréat ès sciences en physiothérapie, Pam détient également un diplôme en thérapie manuelle orthopédique avancée de l’Académie Canadienne des Physiothérapeutes en manipulation (FCAMPT). Elle a également terminé ses études au Centre Harkness des blessures de danse à New York. .... BSc, (PT), FCAMPT, CAFCI FCAMPT Physiotherapist Pam has been practicing physiotherapy since 2000. She began her career at The Ottawa Hospital Rehabilitation Center working in the areas of respiratory care, spinal cord injury rehab and complex orthopedics. In 2004 she transitioned into private orthopedic practice and joined PhysioSport Chelsea. Pam is a graduate of the National Ballet School in Toronto and graduated from the National Ballet of Canada from 1983 to 1992. This background in the performing arts has had a major influence on her interests and treatment approach in physiotherapy. She particularly enjoys working with dancers and musicians and has a deep understanding of the physical and mental demands of these art forms. In addition to her BSc. PT, Pam also holds the Advanced Diploma in Manual and Manipulative Therapy from the Orthopedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (FCAMPT). She has also completed a course of study at Harkness Center for Injuries in New York City.
