About Monique
Hello, my name is Monique Hendricks, and I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor based on Vancouver Island in B.C. I provide counselling support to youth, adults, and families who are dealing with anxiety, depression, overthinking, self-confidence struggles, grief and loss, and relationship/family challenges. My practice is guided through a trauma-focused lens, and I integrate a variety of counselling approaches depending on your therapy needs. With your consent, I will incorporate aspects of mindfulness and somatic-sensory (physical) awareness into the space of wellness that we create together.
Everything you need to find peace and balance is already inside of you. My goal is to understand challenges you are currently facing, and to collaboratively design a path forward where you may increase your inner capacity to find a holistic balance and reach your mental health goals.
Life has many ups and downs and I understand how difficult it can be to reach out and begin counselling.
