About Mia
Mia graduated from McGill University. She is a registered dietitian with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC). She also completed Breastfeeding Course for Health Care Providers (LEARRC approved breastfeeding course) by Douglas College and IOC (International Olympic Committee) diploma in Sports Nutrition. She had extensive work experience working in chronic disease prevention and management, prenatal nutrition, weight management, blood sugar control and etc. We believe that if you cannot follow a diet plan for life, that's not the right one for you! It's all about lifestyle changes. We all are craving for delicious cookies, chocolates, fries, burgers, chips once a while. Nothing needs to be avoided completely, but it is all about having it in moderation and maintaining a positive lifestyle in general. Enjoying delicious foods and having healthy food choices are not contradictory at all!
