About Matthew
Matthew is passionate about making a difference in the lives of those around him. Trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine acupuncture, he uses acupuncture as his primary modality to improve the well-being of clients using personalized treatment plans based on TCM traditions and patient feedback
Matthew graduated from the Canadian College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine after taking a three year diploma program, where he saw and treated a wide variety of conditions. While there he learned to use electroacupuncture, cupping, Gua Sha, and acupuncture to achieve effective results when treating a multitude of conditions. He is particularly passionate about helping people prioritize care during intensive periods of life such as surgical recovery and pre- and post-partum care.
Away from work, Matthew is constantly deepening his knowledge of holistic medicine through reading and discussion. He also enjoys racquet sports, spending time with family, especially his two nieces, and taking advantage of Nova Scotia’s beautiful outdoors, including a variety of winter sports.
