About Krista

Krista Koval has been a Moncton-based RMT therapeutic massage therapist since 2015. She specializes in TMJ (jaw) dysfunction and pain symptoms through deep tissue and myofascial release techniques to relieve acute and chronic pain. Krista provides an orthopedic assessment and a comprehensive treatment plan based on each individual’s specific needs and goals. She believes in life-long learning and continually updates courses, adds new treatment modalities and home care exercises to her ‘toolbox’. She is very interested in functional body patterns and how movement prolongs overall health and well being, autonomy and longevity. Krista is also an experienced athlete in cycling, running, swimming, bootcamps / Crossfit, harness dog sports and Yin Yoga. This background helps her to relate to, identify and mitigate the physical aches, pains and struggles her clients experience. Her goal is to understand each client’s specific needs to help them relieve stress, accelerate recovery, and maximize their potential by helping them stay happy, healthy and moving. She treats the whole body by seeking the root of the cause, not just the symptoms.
