Keltie is a dedicated physiotherapist who integrates her athletic background with a passion for helping others with their rehabilitation journey. She completed her Masters of Physical Therapy from UBC in 2023. Complementing her physiotherapy knowledge is her degree in Arts and Science from Quest University, where she also completed an undergraduate thesis on science communication with athletes.
Her journey into physiotherapy was sparked by personal experiences as an Olympic skier, who faced a series of injuries throughout her career. Post-athletics, Keltie chose the path of physiotherapy to assist others in recovering from injuries, managing chronic pain, and enhancing their quality of life with movement.
Keltie employs an evidence-based approach, harmonizing elements of compassion, targeted exercise, manual therapy, and individualized care to effectively guide individuals towards their goals. In addition to her Ortho level 1 certification, she draws from extensive experience in exercise prescription from her 7 years on the Canadian National Halfpipe Ski Team. These experiences and qualification bring a comprehensive skill set to her practice.
In addition to her role at Fresh Tracks Physiotherapy, Keltie actively contributes to the community through her work at Comox Valley Hospital. Outside the clinic, she finds fulfillment in activities such as skiing, mountain biking, dancing, and immersing herself in the outdoors. Keltie strives to help her clients meet their goals and create lasting change in their life through mindful movement and individualized exercise.
