About Jim
Jim is a Registered Psychotherapist and member in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Jim earned his Honours Bachelor of Arts degree at York University and his Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University.
Jim is dedicated to helping his clients resolve differences between the person they believe they are and the person they feel they would like to be. Jim’s psychotherapy practice is focussed on helping both teens (17+) and adults, who are struggling with panic, anxiety, depression, alcohol/drug dependency, grief, lack of meaning/purpose, life transitions, and relationship conflicts.
Jim immigrated to Canada from Australia 20 years ago, after spending some time working and living in Ireland and South Africa. After a 22-year career in finance, he shifted his focus towards an interest in psychology, and spent the majority of the last 10 years studying and training to become a psychotherapist.
