About Jerry
I take a person‑centered and collaborative approach to therapy, offering a supportive space where clients can explore their stories with honesty and without judgment. My goal is to work alongside you to uncover practical, meaningful solutions that support greater mental well‑being, relational health, and resilience.
My path into counselling is shaped by more than 25 years of experience in various leadership roles supporting youth, young adults, individuals and families. I have also served as an airport and offshore industry chaplain, providing frontline emotional support by working to promote psychological health and safety in the workplace and serving as a mental health first aid responder. These experiences have strengthened my ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and guide them through challenging transitions.
My clinical training includes a focus on grief and bereavement, and I offer individual, couple, family, and group therapy. I approach each client with curiosity, compassion, and respect, drawing on both my lived experience and the supervision of a highly qualified and well‑respected clinical supervisor to ensure that the care I provide is grounded, ethical, and effective.
