About Jennifer
Jennifer Wilson, RMT (PhD Neuroscience) was trained at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in Halifax. Subsequently, I have delved into CranioSacral Therapy with the Upledger Institute and then went on to complete a 2 year training (750+hrs) in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy. in 2025 I completed the 3 year training in Somatic Experiencing, a method developed by Peter Levine, to help the nervous system resolve states of activation. I also have qualifications in Thai Yoga Massage, from the Lotus Palm School of Thai Massage in Montreal, Yoga Instructor (200hrs) with Hart Lazer, and Reiki and energy healing work. I am licensed with the Massage Therapists and Wholistic Practitioners Association of the Maritimes (MTWPAM) as a Massage Therapist, and with APNN. I offer direct billing to most insurance companies (Blue Cross, Manulife, Great West Life, Chambers), but regretfully do not accept WCB or Car Insurance cases.
My treatment approach:
This time is your time. I am here to support you. To give you quality service, with heart. Although I have come from a scientific background and am strong in the intellectual understanding and presentation of symptoms and dysfunction in the body, my joy, passion and calling to this work is because I can blend this with working from my heart and intuition and allow the intelligence within the body to guide the session. Centeredness, presence and a gentle nature allow me to hold space for whatever is arising in another, and to hold that space, openly, and non-judgementally. For me, this work is a privilege and an honour.
