Greg Rozon, BSc, MEd (Counselling), RCT‑C
Individual Counselling Therapy | New Client Consultation
Greg brings over 20 years of experience supporting youth and adults through challenging life transitions. His background includes extensive work in community‑based and non‑profit organizations, helping clients navigate education, mental health, justice, and social service systems with clarity and confidence.
Greg played a key role in implementing a provincial youth program that became a model for other service providers across Nova Scotia. Through this work, he developed strong relationships within health, education, and social systems — allowing him to offer practical, solution‑focused strategies that truly support clients’ needs.
He has supported individuals referred from families, community organizations, and programs such as:
Halifax Regional Education Centre
Community Justice Program
Department of Community Services / Opportunities & Social Development
Nova Scotia Health
Greg’s clinical focus includes anxiety, grief, depression, emotional regulation, identity, relationships, executive functioning, and life transitions. He currently works full‑time as a therapist supporting autistic and neurodivergent adults across Nova Scotia.
Greg’s approach is affirming, culturally responsive, and grounded in understanding each person’s lived experience. He has worked extensively with youth (16–24), LGBTQ+, African Nova Scotian/Black communities, immigrants/newcomers, and individuals facing systemic barriers. He believes the therapeutic relationship is central to building trust and creating meaningful change.
Using a strength‑based, trauma‑informed, client‑centred approach, Greg helps clients reconnect with their abilities, insights, and resilience. He works collaboratively to develop goals, strategies, and practices that support a more balanced, hopeful, and empowered life.
