I'm a Registered Social Worker based in Markham, Ontario (Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers). I hold a Master’s degree in
Medical and Psychiatric Social Work and have experience in medical, psychiatric, and community
settings both in India and here in Canada.
Over the years, I’ve worked closely with hospitals, municipalities, and community organizations,
supporting individuals with compassion and evidence-based care. I’m especially passionate about
trauma-informed practice, culturally sensitive service delivery, and empowering clients through
collaborative support.
Currently, I’m actively involved with MASWO and WCH, where I engage in newcomer advocacy,
professional networking, and community outreach. My background in research, project
coordination, and team collaboration drives me to always seek impactful ways to support
individuals and build stronger communities.
I believe that social work is not just a profession it’s a calling to show up for people when they
need it most.
