About Fatima
My name is Fatima Alao and I am the founder of Lalasfootfix.
I graduated from the St Lawrence College Nursing program in 2005 and obtained a BA in Health Administration from Athabasca U In 2018.
I have been a nurse for 18 years and an Advanced Footcare Nurse for almost 10 years.
I continue to keep up with the trends and innovations in Footcare through continuous education and yearly conferences in both Canada and the US.
I currently provide Footcare services in Longterm care homes and Retirement Residences across the city.
I have recently moved to the Nation with my two children.
My goal is to provide treatment and prevention of foot health issues related to diabetes and other diseases. Especially to our growing seniors ‘population.
In my spare time I enjoy the outdoors and spending time with my two children.
The Feet are the body’s foundation. They carry everything else! It is essential that we take care of them!
Medical Footcare is covered through Veteran’s affairs and many other insurance plans.
