About Ernest
Ernest Geid is a Canadian Osteopathic Manual Practitioner and the founder of Osteopathy First. With extensive hands-on clinical experience in manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, he delivers osteopathic care using a multi-modal approach rooted in European-style osteopathy.
Ernest holds a Diploma of Osteopathic Manual Practice (DOMP), a Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from the National University of Medical Sciences in Spain, and is an International Graduate Medical Doctor (MD). He has also completed advanced training in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, Holistic Nutrition, and Newborn Treatment.

#### Philosophy
Ernest's practice is guided by the four principles of osteopathy:

Using osteopathic palpation—a gentle, hands-on technique that distinguishes osteopathy from other therapies—Ernest identifies, assesses, and treats the body's structures and rhythms. His four primary techniques include:
- Osteopathic Articular Technique — Reduces muscle spasms, eases neurological irritation, improves joint mobility, and alleviates pain.
- Craniosacral Therapy — A subtle technique that restores balance to blood and fluid circulation throughout the body.
