My name is Duncan Welton, I graduated from Alberta College of Massage Therapy January 2018, I pride myself on being as dedicated to my clients as possible. Health, recovery, Pain reduction , mobility, and maintenance.
I have a lifetime of experience in athletics. Three different sports flirted with professional careers. With 20 years in the golf industry I have thorough knowledge of the golf swing and the muscles that cause pain and restriction of movement/ flexibility.
Since graduation I have continued my education by taking modality courses including Hot Stones and Cupping ( which I include in all treatments as required and approval of client at no extra charge) Other courses completed are Pre and Postnatal Care, Cancer care (during and post care), Thai Yoga Level I in association with hand and foot reflexology.
Beyond my Athletic achievements, The fact that i have a journeyman tickets in mechanics (Quads, Sleds, Marine, and Turf equipment ), My RMT education, my greatest accomplishment is my son Elliot, I have been a solo parent for 11 years and through all his hard work he is a 5 time Honor role student with goals of a lengthy university education. Considered a 1%er his computer skills have led his age group and beyond. When he was 9 and I had to say he was 12 to get into the robotics class for 12+ at the Edmonton Science center, By day 2 the instructor had my son helping the other students . Elliot also has had a shoe business and a youtube channel on cooking ( still growing). It's nice to come home to a gourmet meal most every night.
