About Stacey

Being an ND is a rewarding and fulfilling profession. It’s a lot of hard work but anything worth having usually is. It’s given me the ability to take my patients on a journey to live their best lives. The first steps on the journey to better mental and physical health involves getting to a certain level of self awareness. It is that self awareness that leads you to learn more about how connected you are to your environment. There is no separation between how you choose to live your life and the results you achieve. The connection between your mind and body is just as important as the connection between your lifestyle and your body. Oftentimes, this is the part that is enlightening to my patients because they become empowered as they learn more about themselves on all levels. My role as as teacher, coach and cheerleader helps you along this journey and is essential to your success. There are many paths to get to that place. For me, asking how I can contribute to the bigger picture of life seemed like a strange question to ask since most of my life I’ve done the opposite. Many of us are more concerned about what we can get out of life instead of what we can give. I teach my patients anything worth having requires daily effort and health is no exception. For me many aspects of the profession didn’t come naturally. But the parts that did has been pivotal to my success. There are 2 characteristics that flowed naturally and those are empathy and commitment. I feel my purpose is to connect and to share. And this is the foundation of SMRT health. Super helpful in understanding the root of underlying health issues and working with patients to address the root cause. I have not felt this good in years, thank you! I highly recommend Dr. Stacey Richards!

I've been going to Dr. Stacey Richards for about 20 months. Before i started seeing her, I was always tired, constant headaches and i had virtually no energy. I was deeply concerned I had cancer or something extremely serious affecting my brain. She recommended a food sensitivity test and identified a number of foods i was eating which i should be avoiding based on my results. Since then, my headaches have disappeared, my energy is back and i feel normal again. Seeing her has honestly changed my life. These simple diet changes and regular support appointments with B12 and adrenal injections have improved my health and lifestyle. I cannot thank her enough. I highly recommend Stacey to anyone feeling out of the norm, whether it's stomach issues, headaches or just feeling off in general, to go and see her. She changed my life, she can change yours too.
