Dr. Sasha Monteiro, ND is dedicated to empowering individuals to take charge of their health. Why? Because she has been in your shoes – for years, she was told that her symptoms were “normal” until she found a doctor who truly listened. That feeling of being heard and validated inspired her to share that same experience with others. Whether it’s women’s health, gut optimization, or mental health support, she is here to work with you to achieve your health goals, because your health matters.
Dr. Sasha’s background in healthcare spans diverse experiences, including four years in outpatient mental health. She firmly believes that healthcare isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach. This is why she adopts an evidence-informed approach to care and advocates for small changes while being kind to yourself. Dr. Sasha’s treatment plans are tailored to fit your busy lifestyle and align with your health goals.
Educational Journey: Dr. Sasha has an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science and a Master’s in Science in Human Health and Nutritional Science from the University of Guelph. She pursued her passion further at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, obtaining a Doctor of Naturopathy degree. During her clinical internship, she was selected and given the opportunity to work in a highly competitive mental health shift where she received in-depth training.
Dr. Sasha is a certified naturopathic doula and an active member of both the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND) and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND). Dr. Sasha is committed to staying updated with the latest research to provide you with the most current and effective care.
