About Sarah

Dr. Sarah Lombardi brings a lifelong passion for sport, movement, and healthy living to her chiropractic practice. A long-distance runner herself, she understands the importance of staying active and believes movement can play an important role in recovery, performance, and overall well-being. She works collaboratively with her patients to help reduce pain, restore function, and achieve the health and activity goals that matter to them. Dr. Lombardi grew up in Waukesha, Wisconsin, where she attended the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse before attending Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota. She graduated Valedictorian in 2021 with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree with a sports emphasis. This additional sports-focused education included training in the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of sports-related injuries. She simultaneously earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology. After graduation, life brought Dr. Lombardi north to Regina, where she has made Saskatchewan home with her husband, Dr. Colton MacLean, and their family. Her background in sport and human biology, combined with her own active lifestyle, continues to influence the way she approaches patient care. One of Dr. Lombardi's particular areas of interest is caring for women during pregnancy. She has completed advanced training in the Webster Technique, providing her with additional education in chiropractic care during pregnancy. She enjoys working with patients through different stages of life, including infants and families, pregnant women, active adults, weekend warriors, and competitive athletes. Every patient brings different concerns, activities, and goals to the clinic. Dr. Lombardi takes the time to understand those individual needs and develops treatment plans accordingly. Care may incorporate chiropractic adjustments, soft-tissue therapy, FAKTR and MRT techniques, rehabilitative exercise, laser and ultrasound therapy, taping, and movement education. Her multimodal approach is designed to improve movement and function, support recovery, and help patients return to the activities they enjoy. Running remains an important part of Dr. Lombardi's life, and she particularly enjoys working with runners and other active patients. Her sports-focused education and personal experience with long-distance running give her an appreciation for both the physical demands of training and the frustration of an injury that prevents someone from participating. She strives not only to help patients recover but also to identify movement and training factors that may contribute to recurring problems. Now practising in Regina, Dr. Lombardi provides individualized, evidence-informed chiropractic care to patients with a wide range of needs and activity levels. Her goal is to give patients the treatment, guidance, and practical tools they need to feel better, move with confidence, and continue doing the things they love. Away from the clinic, Dr. Lombardi enjoys long-distance running, outdoor adventures, and spending time with her husband, son, and dog. She also enjoys trips home to Wisconsin to visit family and friends.
