About Rebecca
Hi! My name is Rebecca Anderson, and I am a Naturopathic Doctor at Art of Mobility Toronto. I completed my Doctor of Naturopathy at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) and my undergraduate studies in Life Sciences and Organic Chemistry at the University of British Columbia.
I began my career in cancer and autoimmune disease research, which is where I first recognized the importance of a root cause approach to health and the limitations of treating symptoms in isolation. Working in chronic disease highlighted how deeply interconnected the body’s systems are and how uniquely they can function from person to person. This experience shaped my philosophy of care and ultimately led me to pursue naturopathic medicine.
My personal health journey further strengthened this perspective. After my first year of graduate school, I experienced a sudden decline in my own health, including low energy, brain fog, hair loss, digestive concerns, and allergic skin reactions. Navigating these challenges while balancing school and work gave me a firsthand understanding of how overwhelming it can feel when your body is not functioning optimally. This experience taught me the importance of flexible, personalized, and realistic care, creating treatment plans that fit into real lives and are sustainable long term.
My clinical approach focuses on helping patients understand their bodies so they can make informed and confident health decisions. I use blood work alongside evidence based nutrition, lifestyle strategies, and natural therapies to address symptoms, manage chronic conditions, and optimize overall health, while also helping patients navigate misinformation in the wellness space.
Outside of the clinic, I enjoy travelling, trying new foods, gardening, and spending time with friends. I love learning new things and meeting new people.
