Your health, whether physical, mental, or emotional, plays a pivotal role in your quality of life and life satisfaction! If we forget about our health, and do not invest in it optimally because of a lack of time, we begin to slide down a very slippery slope, getting to the point where chronic illness develops. Once chronic illness sets in, it can be very difficult to perform daily activities, and really live life. Here is the key! Once you start to actively invest, and actively nourish your health, on all levels, it will create a life where there is energy, strength, engagement, and the ability to focus on the present moment bringing peace, joy, and happiness. Beginning, and going forward along your personal Health path, without guidance is not always easy, and can become very frustrating. This is the time to really respect and invest in yourself, live optimally, and live the life you deserve to live! This is where Naturopathic Medicine can really help, giving you the tools, and teaching you how to use those tools, that will help you get yourself living the life you want to live I started own my own health journey 20 years ago, when I was diagnosed with ADHD as young child. I have also experienced other health obstacles such as eczema and cataracts as well, but it was really my journey with ADHD that really catapulted me into the realm of health. With the diagnosis label of ADHD, I was administered Ritalin, my parents and I soon realized that this medication was not the right fit and that there had to be another way. With the discovery and subsequent guidance of Naturopathic Medicine, I soon fell in love with the profession. I had always wanted to help others as a young child, and this was the way to do it, to support the body and its naturally intelligent healing processes! I am a board certified-Naturopathic Doctor, who is in good standing and is registered with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario, to practice within Ontario. I have, graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine with a Doctorate in Naturopathy, in which I had completed three years of biomedical and clinical therapy training, and one year of clinical internship rotations. This includes over 4100 hours of in class studies and training, along with 1200 supervised clinical hours. I have experience with herbs, supplements, homeopathy, nutrition, acupuncture, spinal adjustments and more. I have special interests in chronic autoimmune-inflammatory conditions such as Fibromyalgia, Men’s Health, ADHD, Digestive Health and Hormonal health. I am solution focused and determined to help remove any obstacles that may be preventing your body from healing, getting to the root cause. I am determined to help guide you on your personal health journey, no matter how winding the road may be.
