Kali Borissova is a Doctor of Acupuncture with dual diplomas in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Alberta College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACATCM). She is a registered member of the College of Acupuncturists of Alberta.
Since establishing her practice, Kali has developed a thriving clinical focus on helping patients overcome chronic stress, hormonal imbalances, digestive issues, fatigue, sleep disturbances, and emotional exhaustion. She also provides effective support for various types of pain — commonly treating back pain, neck and shoulder tension, migraines, joint pain, and sciatica — and works with injured athletes navigating the physical and emotional challenges of being sidelined from training and competition. She brings a special warmth to women navigating the often-invisible demands of a full life.
Central to her approach is the nervous system. She views these conditions not as isolated symptoms, but as signs that the body has lost its natural capacity to regulate and restore itself. By combining the precision of Traditional Chinese Medicine with insights from modern neuroscience, she addresses root patterns rather than surface-level complaints, guiding patients back to balance and resilience.
Outside the clinic, Kali finds renewal through good books, meaningful time with friends, adventures with her dog, and time outdoors. As a sports mom, she regularly travels with her child to national and international tournaments, giving her a deep understanding of the unique pressures that high-performance environments place on athletes and their entire families.
