Dr. Fiona Smulders is a registered Naturopathic Doctor with a clinical focus in reproductive health, pregnancy, birth preparation, and postpartum care. Dr. Smulders has a bachelors degree in Kinesiology and received her naturopathic medical training from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (Boucher Campus), where she is currently Lead Instructor and Chair of the Botanical Medicine Department.
Dr. Smulders’ passion for supporting reproductive wellness began at the age of 18 when she volunteered at a maternity clinic in the Philippines to assist in prenatal visits and breastfeeding/lactation education. As a Naturopathic doctor, she has done additional training in Naturopathic obstetrics with Dr. Cathy Carlson-Rink ND RM and Naturopathic Doula training with Dr. Kirsten Almon ND and Dr. Shannon Kaupp ND to enhance her skills and capacity to support others through pregnancy and birth.
Dr. Smulders recently welcomed her own little one into the world in the Fall of 2021 and is grateful for the opportunity to be a part of your own unique journey through parenthood.
