About Derek
Dr. Derek Strachan is a Chiropractor and a fully certified Graston Technique provider. He was born and raised in Edmonton, attended the University of Alberta, and was accepted into the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) after three years of post-secondary study focusing on anatomy and physiology. Dr. Strachan offers chiropractic care, soft tissue therapy, biomechanical analysis, exercise therapy, and custom foot orthotics; all of which not only facilitate the treatment of the symptomatic area, but more importantly the root cause of the symptoms in each of his patients. During his internship at CMCC, Dr. Strachan practiced under the Vice-President of the College of Chiropractic Sports Science, and had the privilege of treating many sport-related injuries in high level athletes. After four years in Toronto, Dr. Strachan returned to Edmonton to begin practicing in his home community.
