About Deanne
Deanne Bambrick, BA BSW MSW RSW has twenty years of experience working with youth and
adults in diverse social work settings. She completed her social work degrees at Memorial
University and Dalhousie University. Deanne works with individuals 16+ experiencing
depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, addiction, and trauma.
She has experience and special interest in the areas of relationships, perinatal health, intimate
partner violence, neurodiversity, and parenting children with exceptionalities. She uses
evidence-based practice approaches including CBT, ACT, DBT, reflective journaling, mindfulness,
and narrative therapy in her clinical practice.
Deanne uses feminist, strengths-based, neuro-affirming, and trauma informed approaches in
her practice and strives to help her clients feel safe and validated while working towards their
goals. Deanne is passionate about building genuine and meaningful relationships with her
clients and helping them improve their resilience and quality of life.
