About Daveena
Daveena is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) who works with youth and adults. Daveena offers Safe & Sound Protocol (SSP) therapy and uses sand tray therapy in sessions as well. Daveena draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) in her approach with clients.
Over the past five years, she's worked in the human services field, and before that, she spent time in law enforcement. These experiences provided her with a deep appreciation for the resilience people carry and the different paths that shape our lives.
She believes that pain, grief, and struggle are natural parts of being human, and that each of us has a unique story that matters. Her approach is warm, compassionate, supportive, and judgment-free— She is looking forward to come alongside you as you navigate your journey.
