About Danielle
With over 15 years of experience as a physiotherapist, Danielle is passionate about helping people recover from injury, move better, and return to the activities that matter most to them. Her background includes high-performance sport, outpatient orthopaedics, and rehabilitation for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.
Danielle has worked extensively with elite athletes through roles with Hockey Canada, Rugby Canada, and professional sport organizations, including coverage at the Milan and Paris Olympic Games, and international rugby and hockey competitions. She has experience treating acute and chronic injuries, supporting return-to-sport decisions, and working collaboratively within athlete support teams.
In addition to her work in high-performance sport, Danielle has spent many years in private practice settings helping clients of all ages and activity levels recover from pain and injury. She has a special interest in orthopaedic injuries, sport rehabilitation, and helping active individuals build strength, mobility, and confidence in their movement. Danielle believes in taking the time to understand each person’s goals, lifestyle, and unique challenges. Her approach combines hands-on treatment, individualized exercise programs, and education to help clients feel empowered in their recovery and long-term health.
Danielle completed her Master of Science in Physiotherapy at Dalhousie University and holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology (Honours) from Acadia University. She is also a certified member of Sport Physiotherapy Canada and is bilingual in English and French.
