PHYSIOTHERAPIST & CO-FOUNDER D’Arcy has been active outdoors since his childhood climbing the framed houses of Calgary’s then-new Silver Springs neighbourhood. He considered a career as an outdoor guide—until a volunteer experience in university with physiotherapist Dr. Michael Westaway changed the trajectory of his career and life. Now a physiotherapist of 25+ years and a clinical director of 12 years with a Clinical Instructor designation from the University of Alberta, D’Arcy’s depth and breadth of experience extends beyond musculoskeletal physiotherapy with expertise in Vestibular Rehabilitation Therapy and concussion management. Today, he climbs mountains instead of houses, runs, and swims. He walks the talk, strength training to prevent injury and pain, and he’ll always talk nutrition with you—especially when said nutrition includes Eggs Benedict or chocolate. He has two daughters and lives in Calgary, AB.
