Cristina is a strong instructor therapist and support worker specializing in care for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). She is dedicated to supporting her clients of all ages in navigating daily life and reaching their fullest potential through compassionate, individualized behavioural supports. Following her achievement of an Honours Bachelor of Applied Sciences in Psychology (Honours BSc) and a diploma in General Arts, Cristina gained hands on experience in Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) with an expertise in creating and applying dynamic therapeutic interventions.
Cristina is trained in the application of relational frame theory (RFT), practical functional assessments (PFA), and skills-based treatment (SBT). She is known for thinking outside the box as she offers engaging, age-appropriate programming that promotes personal growth, academic support and practical life skills. From behaviour management strategies to social skills groups, Cristina works closely with families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a comprehensive approach to care.
