Cohl Muntain is a graduate from The University of Saskatchewan where he completed both his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (2008) and his Masters of Physical Therapy (2011). Following convocation, he continued his studies in the area of exercise management and has taken multiple courses including completion of his CEP (certified exercise physiologist) through the Canadian Society of Exercise Therapy. Additionally, he has taken extensive post-secondary education in the field of manual therapy and has completed his FCAMPT (Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manual and Manipulative Physical Therapy), which is an internationally acknowledged standard for manual and manipulative therapy. His educational interests continued in the realm of concussion assessment and management where he has taken multiple post-secondary courses on the topic.
Cohl’s treatment philosophy aims to combine his knowledge in the areas of manual therapy and exercise. He acknowledges the role of manual therapy to assist in assessment and management of pain and disability, all the while using exercise to create long term change and assist the patient in developing their own self-management strategies. His goal is to empower each patient to regain control of their injury or condition through exercise. He has considerable experience in strength and conditioning and enjoys any opportunity to help individuals meet their exercise goals beyond simply pain and disability.
Outside of the clinic Cohl spends most of his time with his wife and two young children. They reside locally in Martensville where he is excited to see his family grow and develop in such a wonderful community. They enjoy spending time in the community going for walks, bike rides, and playing in the local parks. In his spare time, he enjoys being in the outdoors, golfing, playing hockey, working out, and watching pretty much any type of sports on TV. He is also an avid Toronto Blue Jays and Vancouver Canucks fan.

“I’ve seen Cohl Muntain for a couple of different issues, and I’ve always received excellent care. Most recently I was struggling with a repetitive strain injury, and Cohl suggested dry needling. I was nervous about it, but it was so helpful! He did a great job of explaining things and made me feel at ease. Would highly recommend him (and dry needling!) to anyone struggling with chronic pain.”Read moreShow less
