About Cathy

Hi my name is Cathy, I am a Registered Massage Therapist and Certified Infant Massage Instructor. I have been an RMT for more than 18 years. I completed my studies in Toronto with the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy, that was followed a few years later with the educators at Trimesters where I received my training in Infant Massage instruction. My practice has always been within a multi disciplinary setting working with all walks of life through all stages of life from birth to palliative care. Here at The WOMB I am looking forward to being part of a team with the focus on prenatal, postpartum and beyond. Nurturing this stage of live is exciting and an honour to be a part of. I'm here to assist all involved in this stage of life; planning to become a mom, new moms, experienced moms, everyone involved on your journey, partners, parents, friends and of course babies. I have experience providing treatments with infants needing assistance early on with muscular hypertonicity due to their position in utero, tissue restrictions that may affect feeding, digestive concerns to name a few. I also provide Infant Massage instruction to parents and caregivers to connect and bond with their babies and teach techniques so they can offer different ways to soothe and build a healthy touch relationship.
