About Ava
Ava Corey is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) who has been practicing since 2023. She completed an Honors Bachelor of Arts and Sciences (BASc) from McMaster University in 2020. Her passions for both the arts and sciences led her to complete a Master of Health Sciences in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Toronto in 2023.
Ava has clinical experience in pediatrics working in the areas of early language intervention, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), speech sound production, and literacy.
Ava has completed additional training as a Natural Language Acquisition Practitioner (2024) as well as a Sensory Oral Sequential (SOS) trained feeding therapist (2025).
Ava believes in taking a strength-based approach to therapy and creating a comfortable environment for clients and their caregivers. She is a life-long learner dedicated to evidence-based practice, and is always passionate to learn more from the research and her clients.
