Starting therapy can feel especially hard when you have felt misunderstood, overlooked, or like you have had to explain yourself over and over again. You may be navigating anxiety, identity, family expectations, life transitions, neurodivergence, trauma, or the weight of trying to fit into systems that were not built with your needs in mind. My goal is to offer a space where you can slow down, feel heard, and explore what healing and growth can look like for you. I offer compassionate, client-centred therapy shaped by both professional experience and lived experience as a Vietnamese immigrant. My path into therapy began while working as an Educational Assistant, where I saw the gaps in mental health support for neurodivergent individuals, children with developmental disabilities, and families navigating complex systems of care. My approach is warm, eclectic, collaborative, and culturally responsive. I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities to meet each client’s unique needs, while moving at a pace that feels safe and meaningful. I strive to create a neuro-affirming, trauma-informed, and inclusive space where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered. I am passionate about supporting immigrants, BIPOC individuals, neurodivergent clients, and those navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, identity, self-esteem, life transitions, grief, emotional regulation, interpersonal relationships, and intergenerational experiences. I also support clients with ADHD, autism, OCD, body positivity, binge eating, and social skills. Therapy with me can be goal-oriented, exploratory, or a blend of both. We may also connect through pop culture, including video games, movies, books, anime, and storytelling, as meaningful ways to explore emotions, identity, strengths, and coping. My goal is to help clients build confidence, self-understanding, practical tools, and meaningful change in a way that feels authentic to them. I hold a BA Honours in Psychology from the University of Windsor, a Developmental Services Worker Diploma from Fanshawe College, and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. I offer virtual therapy across Ontario and in-person sessions at Embodied Resilience Wellness Clinic. My rate is $140 per session, with limited sliding scale options available. Outside of therapy, I enjoy hiking and am currently working toward completing the Bruce Trail. I have three dogs, and my favourite series is The Lord of the Rings.
