I am a physiotherapist with over 15 years of experience in public and private practice, who has lived, worked and played in the spectacular Elk Valley for over 23 years.
Areas of interest include musculoskeletal physiotherapy, sports physiotherapy, manual therapy, Gunn IMS (dry-needling), post-operative rehabilitation, vestibular (vertigo) rehabilitation, concussion management and return-to-work planning.
I hold a BSc in Kinesiology from Western University, a Masters in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary and an MSc in Physiotherapy from McMaster University.
Other certifications include an Orthopedic Division Level 3 Manual Therapy Certification, CCMI Concussion Practitioner Certification, a certificate in Disability Management from Simon Fraser University and a 40-hr "Sports First Responder" first aid certificate.
I am truly a life-long learner and have taken too many courses in my areas of practice to list!
When I am not in my sole physiotherapy practice or working for the local health authority, you can find me shuttling kids to their numerous sports and activities, or out on the Fernie trails running, mountain biking and chasing fresh powder on the ski hill.
