Abigail Bauman, RP Registered Psychotherapist (Q) I specialize in supporting children, adolescents, and teens as they navigate big emotions and life’s challenges. My approach is relational and client-centred meaning I focus first on building a strong connection, so young people feel safe, understood, and comfortable being themselves. Sessions often include play, art, games, movement, and storytelling, creating a space where kids can explore their feelings in ways that feel natural to them. I also enjoy using books, shows, and characters that children relate to as part of narrative-based conversations about emotions and experiences. I support children working through anxiety, emotional regulation, ADHD, self-esteem, shame, and family or school stress. Alongside creativity and play, I integrate tools from CBT, DBT, and mindfulness to help kids build confidence and coping skills.
