Method note → ## What the index holds ### Coverage Every clinic and practitioner we can match against a public regulatory registry, with the match itself always attached. A missing registry match means we could not confirm a licence status — never that someone is unlicensed. ### Live availability The unbooked openings clinics publish through their own booking software, read on an automated schedule and kept in step — the same feed the search experience runs on. ### Billing & payers Which insurers a clinic accepts and bills directly, read from the clinic’s own site and its own portal declarations — plus what ICBC, BC’s public auto insurer, publishes about crash-treatment billing and patient user-fee flags. ## Who this helps Government & health authorities Coverage measured by catchment, refreshed continuously — something a periodic survey cannot match. Registry-honest A missing registry match is unknown, not unlicensed, and we never quote a coverage figure without its denominator. Clinics keep control We do not publish what a clinic’s own source marks private, archived, hidden or unbookable — a partnership never changes that.
