About Heather

Heather is a trauma-informed Licensed Counselling Therapist (C) with a passion for helping individuals process the impact of painful experiences and reclaim their lives. She offers a client-focused approach, drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities to meet your unique needs. Her work is collaborative, non-judgmental and grounded in the belief that change is always possible - even when it may not feel that way. Approaches and Modalities - Heather integrates evidence-based approaches into her practice, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) Narrative Therapy (NT) Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Heather works with individuals aged 16+ experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges. She also has extensive experience working with neurodivergent clients, which continues to inform and deepen her practice.
