Best chiropractor services in Kingston.” Hannah M · Google · 27 Nov 2025 “Was a client for nearly two decades, always came in for lower back pain that was never meaningfully addressed for long term solutions, aside from trying to sell me orthotics (poorly manufactured in some clinic in Toronto which did not work). Last year I came in several times for significant back pain and loss of function in my legs. Turns out, I had a pinched nerve and torn disc- very obvious condition that a chiropractor should have been able to catch (but didn't). My condition was very likely worsened from the treatments I received due to the lack of meaningful assessment of my pain. I am now permanently disabled. Preventative solutions such as building the right musculature should be suggested over paying 60$ for 10 minutes of cracking. I don't think I'll be visiting a chiropractor of any kind ever again. I would recommend Dr. Perkins as a resource to both MD's looking to understand pain and its complex patterns and to individuals who are suffering chronic pain and have not been understood when they sought treatment. On a more personal level, I appreciate Dr. Perkins humour, honesty, and transparency around how healing works. No magic fix. Actual 'the cure is in the suffering' type work that would be required of me, not him. He backed this up for me with logic, research, and the above mentioned trust. And I am grateful. For reference - I was referred to Dr. Perkins by a dentist in the Belleville area. I have been a client? patient? of his for the past nine months in which we have managed to improve my quality of life and transition away from the needed weekly appointments to monthly ones. I’m limping for few years now due to severe hip arthritis ( expecting also replacement)and also of chronic low back pain. But I never gave myself the chance to get enough treatments or to try harder. Pain was so unbearable but I refuse to believe I have to live with it every single day. I’m seeing dr. Elliot for almost two months and I can finally say I have more better days than bad days, I can walk longer with much less discomfort .
